Myphotographicjourneystartedwithstreetphotography,asIattemptedtomakesenseofthechaosunfoldinginthecity,withmyoff-cameraflash.Onthestreet,Iseektocaptureraremomentsthathappenonceinalifetime,soIrarelyinterruptmysubjects,asIwouldnotwanttoalterthosebeautifulyetfleetingmomentsoflife.

BeforearrivinginAmsterdam,IlivedonasmallislandoffthecoastofMalaysiacalledPenang.Therefore,muchofmyphotographycanbeinterpretedasareactiontothecultureshockIinitiallyexperiencedmovingtothecity.
